Featured in this lot is this Inland-Empire Biscuit company metal cracker box from 1906. The Inland Empire Biscuit Company was a biscuit company in Spokane, Washington that was built between 1905 and 1919. The company was involved in a regional cracker war with the Washington Cracker Company. This metal box was used to house smaller tins of crackers for transport and shipping. The front shows a sticker reading, "Empire Soda Crackers / Inland-Empire Biscuit Company / Inland Empire Biscuit Co. Spokane" in gold lettering against a navy blue background. The top of the box opens for easy access to storage. The cracker box shows fair condition with wear and slight oxiditation present. Bends and slight warps present as well. No major signs of damage noted. The box measures 10 3/4" L x 10 3/4" W x 11 3/4" H and weighs 2 pounds and 2 ounces.
