Featured in this lot is this 190s - 1960s Inox OTF switchblade knife with Mother of Pearl inlay handles. Inox knives, famously produced by Victorinox, originated from the 1921 adoption of stainless steel for the Swiss Army Knife, founded by Karl Elsener in 1884. Combining "Victoria" (his mother) and "Inox," the brand perfected durable, rust-resistant, multi-functional tools used worldwide. This knife features Mother of Pearl inlays on the handle surrounded by a stainless steel construction. One side features a slide mechanism that moves the knife into its action position. The knife blade is marked reading, "PAT. 96750 / Inox". It shows good condition overall with slight wear present from its age and use over the years, but no signs of major damage is noted. The action is smooth with no stickiness or stoppage. The handle measures 4" L x 3/4" W x 1" D, the blade measures 2 7/8" L x 9/16" W. The entire piece (when opened) measures 6 7/8" long. IT has a total weight of 73.1 grams.
