This is an excellent handwoven flat weave rug by master weaver Jorge Gutierrez using 100% soft fine handspun yarns in a beautiful Intricate Diamond pattern. The rug was handwoven with a tight weave using 100% handspun wool yarns that offers natural variegation and durability with color fast aniline dyes. Tight handwoven weave displayed with bright rich tones in the fine Intricate Diamond pattern in the time-honored Zapotec multi-generational craft by a master weaver, Jorge Gutierrez. The rug shows a phenomenal Navajo like Crystal Eye Dazzler pattern with modern detail showing a rich red background, with large diamond pattern at the center having a rainbow of colors and finished by the bands of color on each end. The piece is brand new in pristine condition with fine tight weave. The rug measures 2’ 6” by 5’ (2 foot 6 inches by 5 foot). This is a brand-new rug.
