Featured in this collection are an Inuit Indian fishing spear and weight, as well as a collection of Native American scrapers from Wyoming. There are five artifacts in this collection. The first piece is an Inuit Indian fishing spear tip constructed from walrus tusk. The item is sharpened and shows the receiving tip crafted for insert into a pole. The second piece is an Inuit Indian fishing weight with areas to fashion ties for further additions of hooks or further weight. The third item is the tip to a flint knapped scraper with serrated edges. The second to last item is a small scraper attached to a card and identified as found in Wyoming. The last item is a larger scraper attached to a card and knapped from a red chert material. The measurements of the fishing spear tip are 5 1/4" x 3/4" x 1/2". The fishing weight measures 3 1/4" x 1" x 1/2". The scrapers measurements range from 2" x 2 1/2" to 3" x 2 1/2".
