The lot contains two pieces of Iroquois beadwork collected in New York state by Dr. Warren Thompson, dating to the 19th Century. The first item is a beaded pouch comprised of old trade cloth with red trade cloth on the exterior borders and beautifully done leaf pattern in beadwork. The piece shows very minimal bead loss and some deterioration of the red cloth edging. It measures 6 inches by 5 ½ inches. The second item is an old beaded trade cloth flap with a combination of seed bead and tubular beads; the piece measures 6 1/2 inches wide by 3 inches long.
