Featured in this lot is this Iroquois Indian beaded pin cushion, circa 1950's. This pin cushion shows wonderful construction from brown and red trade cloth filled with sawdust and closed on the underside of the pin cushion. The pin cushion is profusely decorated with trade seed beads in hexagonal shapes and patterns with coloration of chalk white, light blue, translucent green, translucent red, and clear. The pin cushion shows a handle at its head. The condition of this pin cushion is good, with wear consistent with its age; it shows some use but also shows good overall condition. The measurements of this large pin cushion are 9" x 9" x 2".
