Featured in this lot is this Islander 38mm automatic dive watch with a solid-link bracelet, AR sapphire crystal and luminous sapphire bezel insert. Long Island Watch's primary brand is Islander. Islander, a watch company founded in 2019, offers a variety of watches in almost every category, including dive, field, dress, and everyday watches. The watches are made in the United States using designs and styles from Germany, Switzerland, Italy, the Islands, and the Far East. The case of the watch is 38 mm and features an offset screw-down crown at the 4:00 mark. The case back has a rendering of Long Island on it along with the Islander name, Island Watch, jewel setting and a 200 meter water resistance rating. An NH36, 24-jewel automatic movement with 21,600 vibrations per hour is housed inside the case. This self-winding movement supports hacks (seconds hand stops when you remove the crown) and hand winding. Fully wound, the power reserve lasts about 41 hours. The day and date wheels on the NH36 can be seen at the 3:00 mark on the dial. The hands and hour markers on the dark blue dial are SuperLuminova, and the Island Watch logo is luminescent under the 12:00 mark. The scratch-resistant blue-red sapphire insert in the 120-click unidirectional bezel is coated with SuperLuminova for maximum glow-in-the-dark performance. The use of an anti-reflective flat sapphire crystal that also protects against scratches has improved visibility of the dial. The sapphire's underside has an anti-reflective coating that, depending on the viewing angle, gives off a bluish tint. The watch comes with an extra link for the bracelet. The watch shows good condition overall with little to no wear and no signs of obvious damage are present. The watch face measures 1 3/8", while the inside circumference measures approximately 7 3/8". The box measures 3 5/8" L x 3 5/8" W x 3 1/8" H. The watch weighs 148.4 grams.
