Featured in this lot is this Isleta Pueblo polychrome pottery bowl, circa 1930's. The bowl features a beautifully crafted polychrome construction with floral decorations to the walls of the bowl and geometric patterns in the spaces between the flowers. Isleta Pueblo pottery is a style that developed after the arrival of a group of Laguna Pueblo families who left their native Laguna Pueblo and moved to Isleta Pueblo in 1879 and settled in a village they named Oraibi. The condition of this pottery bowl is good, with some wear to the polychrome paint and a slight fissure to two sides of the bowl lips. The measurements of this pottery bowl are 2 1/2" x 4" x 4".
