Featured in this lot we have an Iver Johnson Model 1911A1 semi auto carbine rifle chambered in .45 ACP. The rifle features a classic 1911 frame with a 16" long barrel, hardwood detachable stock, 8 shot magazine, semi automatic action, and checkered grips. The carbine is classified as a rifle with its 16" long barrel. The grips and butt stock is marked with the Iver Johnson Owl logo. The slide is marked with "Iver Johnson" with the owl logo on the left side and the right marked with "1911A1". The frame is marked with "Iver Johnson Arms Rockledge, FL" with the serial number on the side and the bottom of the frame is marked "S.A.M. PHILIPPINES". This carbine rifle shows a smooth action, crisp trigger pull, and working safety. The piece shows good condition overall with light wear across the finish on the barrel and slide. Serial Number: A005801. This is a modern firearm and requires a FFL transfer or NICS background check.
