Featured in this lot we have an Iver Johnson safety hammerless bicycle revolver chambered in .38 caliber. This revolver was manufactured by Iver Johnson Arms Inc. in the early 1900's. The revolver displays a 2" long round barrel, five shot cylinder, hard rubber grips, top break action, and double action trigger. The side of the barrel is marked "IVER JOHNSON'S ARMS & CYCLE WORKS FITCHBURG, MASS U.S.A.". The bottom of the grip is marked with patent dates reading "PAT. NOV. 17, 03. PAT'S. PENDING." Mechanically the revolver shows a working and crisp trigger action with the cylinder rotation locking up and inconsistent timing causing the trigger to be unable to rotate the cylinder properly. The revolver shows good condition overall across the exterior with some wear across the blue'd finish due to handling and use. The revolver weighs 1lb. Serial Number: 61993. This firearm qualifies as a Curio & Relic firearm, and requires FFL Transfer or NICS Background Check.
