Featured in this lot is an Iver Johnson Target double action Model55A .22 Revolver. This eight shot revolver features a 5 3/4" long round barrel chambered in .22 caliber. The top of the frame is marked "Iver Johnson Target MOD. 55A Pat Pend. I. J.A. & C. WKS. Fitchburg, Mass. U.S.A."; it is also marked ".22 Cal" and "H59268" on the sides of the frame. The revolver is fixed with a blade front sight and integrated rear sight and walnut grips. The revolver shows a nice patina, with some pitting across the exterior. Serial Number: H59268. This firearm qualifies as a Curio & Relic firearm and requires FFL Transfer or NICS Background Check.
