For your consideration is this J.A.L Portuguese oil lamp, c. early 1900's. This is a brass oil burner with a three strands of wick from each of the spouts. The hanging accoutrements show a fork, a cap, and a cover with a spinning plate shield to project light and heat in specific directions. The Portuguese man decoration has a neck with floral decoration just above the decorated man. J.A.L Portuguese brass commonly constructs scales. The condition of this brass oil lamp is good, with the tip of the oil burner bent; otherwise, it is in good usable condition. The measurements of this oil burner are 14 1/2" x 6" x 5".
