Featured in this lot is this bronze scupture called "Dog Tired" by Montana artist J.C. Dye circa 1994. The sculpture features a wonderfully and professionally crafted bronze and wooden base construciotn that shows a cowboy on his horse carrying a tired dog at the end of the day. the bronze is marked as follows: 173/285 - 94 - JC Dye. The plaque on the front is marked as follows: Dog Tired - By J.C. Dye. J.C. Dye is a Montana rancher turned sculptor. Inspired by his ranch and wildlife surroundings, he is completely self taught. The labors of ranch life prepared him for the rigors of monumental sculpture of which he creates one to two a year. The condition of this J.C. Dye bronze sculpture is well preserved with no obvious signs of damage and shows a well preserved overall condition. The measurements of this bronze is 7 1/4" x 6 3/8" x 2 3/4". The collective weight of this bronze sculpture is 2lb 12oz.
