Featured in this lot is a pair of J.K. Norfleet custom leather cowboy boots from Wichita Falls, Texas, circa the late 1900's. James Kirkpatrick Norfleet (1935-2020) was a businessman, merchant, and oil consultant. He loved wearing cowboy boots and loved the classic West, and in the late 1970's to early 80's, he bought Dixon Custom Boot Co. These boots show good leather construction with geometric stitched designs. The boots are marked in faded stamped lettering "J.K. Norfleet Boots Custom Bootmaker ~~~~ Wichita Falls, Texas", with some of the information too faded to make out. The pieces are marked on the sole "Biltrite Neoprine". The boots show good condition overall, with light wear due to age. The measurements of this pair of boots are 14" X 12 1/4" X 4".
