Featured in this lot is this 1920s J. Meran lithograph print of Yellowstone National Park published by John Drescher Company in New York. The company published colored lithograph reproductions of various artist and their paintings that were intended as framed decorative art and not collector investments, making well known and famous artworks available to the general public. The lithograph shows a scene on a lake in Yellowstone National Park, while a Native American paddles his canoe through the middle. The background shows steep, towering cliffs and wooded areas. The bottom left shows the signature and publishers reading, "J. Meren / John Drescher & Co. N. Y." in white lettering. The bottom right reads, "Yellowstone Park" in light blue lettering. The frame shows good condition overall with the back exhibiting some wear but no signs of obvious damage are present. The lithograph shows good condition as well with no wear or damage present. The visible art measures 13 1/2" L x 27 5/8" W, while the entire piece measures 17 1/2" L x 31 1/2" W x 1 3/8" D.
