Included in this lot is a J Stevens Arms Co falling block rifle chambered in .32 caliber. These Stevens Crackshots were manufactured from 1900 to 1913. The rifle has fixed sights on the barrel, marked with the two line, two block Stevens Arms & Tool address, reading “J. Stevens Arms Company PAT. APR22-1913 Chicopee Falls, Mass. U.S.A. 32-R-F", with the side of the receiver marked "Crack Shot-26". The firearm has a casehardened action with smooth forearm and straight grip stock. The piece shows a hard wood stock with a metal butt plate. The frame and barrel show a gray patina, indicative of age and use.
