Featured in this lot we have a J. Stevens Favorite Rifle Model single shot falling block rifle chambered in .22 Long Rifle. This rifle model was manufactured by Stevens between 1894-1939. The firearm has a 22" partial octagon barrel, with nice walnut grips, and stock. The rifle is marked twice on the barrel, reading; "22 LONG RIFLE" on the left side and "J. Stevens A. & T. CO. - Chicopee Falls, MASS. U.S.A. PAT. APR.17.94." on the top. The lower-tang is marked with the serial number. This rifle shows good condition overall with some wear due to age and handling. Mechanically the rifle shows a good trigger and working action with a warm patina. The rifle weighs 4lbs 6oz. Serial Number: 819. This firearm qualifies as a Curio & Relic firearm, and requires FFL Transfer or NICS Background Check.
