Featured in this lot is an 1888 copy of, "Jack Wheeler; A Story Of The Wild West" by David Southwick, published by John W. Lovell Company in New York ,1888. This book follows Jack Wheeler, his adventure and his story as he lives out his life in the Wild West. The book shows a nice lavender, embossed cloth cover with intricate flower designs throughout the front and spine. The title, "Jack Wheeler" is embossed in black and gold on the front panel and spine, with the author's last name in black embossed lettering below that. The books second page is cut on the corner and signed on the fourth page in pencil. Overall the book shows good condition with slight wear from its vintage age and use. The interior pages show slight foxing but overall good condition. The book measures 7 3/8" L x 5 1/8" W x 1" D.
