Featured in this lot is this Japanese primitive etched bone comb circa 19th century. The comb features a wonderfully and professionally crafted etched construction that shows beautiful circular designs that are connected into a larger pattern shown throughout the comb. The comb also features a traditional top ball attached to the top of the comb along with a trailing tassel that features white and black trade beads with a square bone medallion that is beautifully etched in a familiar pattern. The condition of this primitive bone comb is good with no obvious signs of damage but otherwise shows good overall condition. The measurements of this comb is 5 3/4" x 4 5/8" x 2 5/8".
