For your consideration is this Western Germany manufactured, Jauch Regulator pendulum wall clock from the 1950 - 1960s. Jauch clocks were manufactured by the German Jauch Clock Company in the Black Forest region, beginning with the Jauch & Schmid Uhrenfabrik in 1930. The company was known for producing high-quality, solid brass mechanical movements for wall clocks, mantel clocks, and grandfather clocks, becoming a major supplier to other well-known clock companies. The Erhard Jauch Clock Company ceased operations in 1983. This clock is a wall mount and is marked on the front glass reading, "Regulator". When opened from the back, the movement is marked reading, "P.L. 78 cm / Jauch / Western Germany". The clock face shows an off-white color with black roman numerals and three holes for winding. The winding key is set in the bottom of the clock. The movement appears to work and can be wound. It chimes on the hour with a Westminster Chime. It shows good condition overall with slight wear present from its age and use over the years, but no major signs of damage is noted. It measures 49 1/2" L x 17 3/4" W x 6 1/8" D and weighs 24 pounds and 6 ounces.
