Featured in this lot is this Javanese hand carved sculpture: Man and Chicken circa 1950-60's. The sculpture features a wonderfully and professionally crafted wooden construction that shows shows a Javanese man in traditional garments holding a chicken in front of him on a carved wooden shield. The bottom of the sculpture is marked in Javanese. The condition of this wooden sculpture is good with no obvious signs of damage and shows good overall condition. The measurements of this wooden carved sculpture is 10 1/4" x 4 1/2" x 6". The collective weight of this sculpture is 1lb 4 oz.
