Featured in this lot is this self portrait in cowboy attire bronze circa 1995 by American sculptor Jim Rennert born in 1958. The sculpture features a wonderfully and professionally crafted bronze construction that shows Jim Rennert in his cowboy hat and nice dress shirt with boots on sitting in a chair and is signed on the back of the base of the bronze and marked as follows: '95 N/O -. Jim Rennert is an American figural sculptor, working primarily in bronze depictions of everyman figures in business suits. He grew up in the Southwest United States before moving to Dallas, where he became a businessman. The condition of this bronze sculpture is well preserved with no obvious signs of damage and shows a well preserved overall condition. The measurements of this bronze is 13 1/2" x 10 3/4" x 8 3/4". The collective weight of this bronze sculpture is 22lb 12oz.
