Featured in this lot is this mallard drake decoy signed by Joe Freitas. The decoy features a wonderfully and professionally crafted wooden construction painted in life like de3coration with glass eyes. This decoy is a stunning representation of Joe Freitas work. The carving highlights the natural curvatures of a Mallard duck at rest. The painting and attention to detail (especially the mature curl at the tail) accentuates the feathered look of this gorgeous carving. The condition of this of this mallard duck decoy is well preserved with no obvious signs of damage with a well preserved overall condition. The measurements of duck decoy is 16 1/2" x 6 3/4". The collective weight of this decoy is 2lb 2oz.
