Featured in this lot is this Jomon period Japanese arrowhead collection, circa 14,000–300 BCE. There are a total of 94 points and fragments of points in this collection displayed in a rykker shadowbox. The Jomon period was a time in Japanese prehistory, when they were hunter-gatherers, and is often compared to pre-Columbian and Valdivia cultures. The condition of these points is fair, with some chipping consistent with age and wear from time. The measurements of this collection range from 3/8" x 1/2" to 2 1/2" x 1 3/4".
