Included in this lot is a Joesph Allen & Sons, Non XXL garter dagger, antique blade knife with a mother of pearl handle. This piece was made around the 1890's by the famous Joseph Allen & Sons in Sheffield, England. Sheffield made knives always played a big part in American history. From the Gold Rushes in California and Yukon to the battles of the Civil War—Sheffield Bowies and daggers were hugely popular in every corner of the United States. This knife is in great condition and it measures 7" by 1 3/4". The blade measures 3 1/2" long.
