Featured in this lot is this Joseph Coriz Santo Domingo Pueblo born in 1956 storyteller ring. The ring features a wonderfully and professionally crafted sterling silver construction that shows a storyteller design with pueblo architecture and a split shoulder ring band with a bar frame that shows the storyteller scene tooled in a slightly shadowbox design and show the iconic Joseph Coriz signature gold circle in the decoration. The ring is etched on the underside as follows: Joseph Coriz. Joseph Coriz is a highly respected jewelry artist from the Santo Domingo Pueblo (also known as Kewa Pueblo) in New Mexico. He is known for his unique combination of traditional Native American jewelry techniques with contemporary designs, often incorporating deep cultural symbolism into his work. Joseph Coriz’s jewelry is highly valued in Native American art markets and by collectors, and it has been featured in various prestigious exhibitions and galleries. His ability to blend tradition with modernity makes his work highly desirable. The condition of this Santo Domingo Pueblo ring is good ith no obvious signs of damage and shows good overall condition. The overall measurements of this ring is 7/8" x 1 3/4" x 3/4" and the ring size is US 5 1/4. The collective weight of this ring is 15.7g
