Featured in this lot is this original graphite portrait of a middle age Native American man by artist Joseph A. Imhof born 1871 and passed 1955. The portrait shows beautifully and professionally made graphite construction that shows a very good shading that really makes this excellent portrait pop to viewers and collectors alike. The condition of this artwork is good with no obvious signs of damage and in good well preserved condition. The measurements of this graphite profile portrait are 23 1/2" x 18" and the visible art measures 15 1/4"x 10 1/4". Provenance: From the renowned Sundog Fine Art Bozeman, Montana collection and collected by Bruce VanLandingham. Bruce VanLandingham was a pillar in the American Indian collecting community and a respected expert. Along with being an avid collector, Bruce also was the sole owner of Sundog Fine Art Gallery in Bozeman, which was both part museum and gallery.
