Featured in this lot is this oil on canvas by Joseph (Johann) Glotzer born in 1927 and died in 2007. The artwork features a wonderfully and professionally crafted oil on canvas construciton that shows an elegant frame with a velvet border and shows a rough sea scene bashing against the rocks and shows the sun hiding behind a grouping of clouds in the sky. The artwork is marked "J. Glotzer". Joseph (Johann) Glotzer (1927–2007) was an artist known for his evocative ocean-themed artwork, which captured the vastness, mystery, and ever-changing character of the sea. His paintings often conveyed both the tranquility and the raw power of the ocean, drawing viewers into scenes that balanced realism with a deep emotional resonance.
