Featured in this lot is a Kabul Arsenal Enfield style carbine chambered in .62 caliber with Afghanistan bring back papers. This rifle was manufactured before the year 1898 and is a Kabul Armory Model 1860 carbine. The rifle displays a 24" long round barrel, walnut stock, brass trigger guard, percussion cap hammer system, and adjustable rear sight. The rifle is marked with manufacture marks on the barrel and lock plate. Mechanically, the rifle shows a percussion cap hammer with a tight action and snappy trigger. The piece shows good condition with some wear and rust across the exterior due to age and use. No Serial Number.
