For your consideration is this pair of Kant-Suk calf weaning flaps, circa 1950's. There are two weaners in this collection, which show a hammered and folded iron construction with an anti-nursing nose ring style catch to the top of the weaning flaps. The flaps were attached temporarily to a calf's nose and the flap would block the calf from nursing, yet allow them to eat from the ground, drink water, and breathe normally. The condition of these weaning flaps is good, with all moving parts working correctly and showing slight oxidation to the face of the flaps. These flaps are a unique display and conversation set. The measurements of these weaning flaps are 5 1/4" x 7" x 2".
