Featured in this lot we have a hand knotted Persian Kazak wool runner rug originating from the 1930's. The rug displays a fine detailed design, bright colors, and a tight weave. Kazak style rugs are similar in design to Heriz rugs with a colorful and bright coloration. The rugs where traditionally woven by various tribes located near the Caucasus Mountains. This rug displays a floral border with geometric medallions across the center. The piece shows a golden base with colors of blue, red, white, and grey across the piece. The rug shows good condition overall, with little to no wear. The rug measures 31 1/2" wide by 143" long.
