Featured in this lot is this mixed media artwork titled "Chiefs War Song" by Northern Cheyenne artist Kenneth "Ten Bears" Le Compte circa 2019. The artwork features a wonderfully and professionally crafted mixed media construction that shows three chiefs with their mouths open in unison singing and wearing traditional Native American garments including buckskin blouses and pipe bone beaded chokers and breast plates with feathered headdresses on all three. The artwork is signed by Kenny Le Compte in the bottom right hand corner and is marked as follows: Chiefs War Song - Kenny Le Compte - (Bear Paw Sigil) - 2019. This is an original work of art. The condition of this mixed media framed artwork is well preserved with no obvious signs of damage and shows a well preserved overall condition. The measurements of this framed mixed media artwork is 23 3/4" x 27 3/4" and the visible artwork measures 19 3/8" x 23 1/2". The collective weight of this artwork is 7lb 4oz.
