For your consideration is this Kentucky Hardove point pair collection aged from 10,000 - 7,500 B.P. and from the Early Archaic Period. There are two points in this collection, with the first showing a smaller Hardove design. The second shows a narrow design consistent with Hardove points found in Tennessee. Both points show a triangular point with an expanding stem; the smaller point shows a dovetail, while the larger is flat. Both points show corner notches and construction from chert or unique flint material. The condition of these points is good, with no obvious signs of damage; they are in good, overall museum display condition. The measurements of these points are 2 1/4" x 1 1/4" x 1/4" and 3 1/4" x 1 1/4" x 1/4".
