Featured in this lot we have a Kentucky percussion cap long rifle chambered in .38 caliber and originates from the mid 1800's. The rifle features a 35 1/2" long heavy octagonal barrel, hard wood stock, brass trigger guard, double trigger, brass butt plate, and percussion hammer system. The hammer shows engraved floral design with intermittent functionality. The stock shows a brass door with storage area and a dark stained patina with some worn areas due to age and use. The stock shows some light wear with some wear and damage around the lock plate and hammer. No Serial Number. This firearm qualifies as an Antique, and does not require FFL Transfer or NICS Background Check.
