Featured in this lot is this Pulanske County, Kentucky Pocola point from the Late Woodland to Early Mississippian Periods and aged from 1,000 - 650 B.P. The point features a small cluster and side notched, slightly bifurcated construction with coarse serrations. The point is widest above the shoulders. The point is constructed from a cream and salmon pink chert material. The condition of this point is good, with no obvious signs of damage. The measurements of this point are 2 1/4" x 1 1/4" x 1/4".
