Featured in this lot is this Kewpie German bisque porcelain baby angel's by artist Rose O'Neill. There are four Kewpie dolls in this collection that show a bisque porcelain construction that shows two pairs of baby angels with a large single Kewpie angel with rotating arms and a single Kewpie angel with a harp in its lap playing a tune. The largest Kewpie is marked "O'Neill" on its feet. Kewpie Dolls are a famous novelty Carnival doll. It's funny to think that they started out as dolls pictured in a comic strip in vintage women's magazines back in the 1900's. The first style of Kewpie was depicted in the early 1900's Ladies Home Journal and Woman's Companion, as a symbol of innocence and love. The condition of these Kewpie dolls is well preserved for their age with a small crack in the bottom of the sitting one but otherwise shows well preserved condition. The measurements of these dolls range from 1 7/8" x 1 1/8" x 1 1/8" to 5 1/4". The collective weight of this collection is 6oz
