Presented in this lot are two (2) fish mounts: a King Mackerel and a Channel Catfish. King Mackerel, also known as Kingfish, are among the most sought-after game fish throughout their range from Maine to Brazil including the Gulf of Mexico. Channel Catfish are North Americas most common catfish found west of the Rocky Mountain range and from lower Canada to well into Mexico. They thrive in lakes, ponds and rivers where their keen sense of smell and taste enables them to find food even in poor water conditions. Some people in the Southeastern United States enjoy catching these catfish a different way by sticking their hand down into its mouth and pulling it up out of the water, this is called noodling.
