For your consideration is this L.A. Huffman 1881 Old West Gallery Photo Collection. Huffman was a photographer who came to Montana in 1878 to be the post photographer at Ft. Keogh. He later opened a studio in Miles City, Montana. The titles of the photographs are "My First Grizzly Bear 1881," "Shield's Hunting Party, Bennett Creek Montana 1882," The last photograph is untitled but shows a Native American encampment with Tipi's between the tree lines. The back of each on eis marked "L.A. Huffman Coffrin Studio, Agent 1600 Main Miles City, Mont.". The measurements of these photographs range from 16" x 8" to 12" x 16".
