Featured in this lot is this Lakota Sioux beaded buffalo Parfleche knife sheath. The knife sheath shows a brain tanned deer front and a buffalo Parfleche hardened leather back. The tag claims the trade seed beads are from 19th century and include colors of greasy yellow, chalk white, blue, and medium red. The sheath features larger glass and brass trade beads on the bottom tassels and on the leather loop towards the top of the sheath. The condition of this knife sheath is good, showing no obvious signs of damage. The measurements of this knife sheath are 8" x 3" x 1/2".
