Featured in this lot is this beaded hide knife sheath from the Lakota Sioux circa 1970's. The knife sheath shows a wonderfully and professionally crafted hide and trade seed bead construction with a heavy patina adorning the hide sheath frame with a belt loop attached to the back and held together by sinew buck stitching and features colors to the trade seed beads such as chalk white, light or sky blue, medium blue and pumpkin orange. The condition of this sheath is good with a heavy patina to the hide of the sheath but otherwise in good overall condition. The measurements of this sheath are 9 1/2" x 3 3/4" x 1 1/4".
