Featured in this lot is this beaded pair of warrior arm cuffs from the Lakota Sioux Indians, circa 1900. The arm cuffs show wonderfully constructed warrior design, featuring an old tent canvas cloth that is beaded with geometric patterns of period correct glass trade seed beads in colors of sky blue, chalk white, cobalt, medium red, pumpkin orange, and greasy orange. The beads are sewn on the arm bands with sinew and trade thread. The condition of this pair of warrior cuffs is good, with no obvious signs of damage for their age and slight browning to the trade cloth. The measurements of this pair of warrior cuffs are 5 3/4" x 5 1/4" x 3/8".
