Featured in this lot is this Lakota Sioux buffalo hide quiver and polychrome arrow. The buffalo hide quiver shows rich, curly Buffalo hair with a brown hide shoulder strap. The hide strap is decorated with tassels, showing trade beads fastened onto the tassels and a fringe down the side of the quiver. The arrow shows a fire hardened soft wood with painted turkey feather fletching. The shaft is decorated with natural dye polychrome paint and a tiger stripe knapped flint point wrapped and secured with sinew string. The condition of this quiver and arrow is good, with no obvious signs of damage. This is a contemporary piece. The measurements of this quiver and arrow are 22" x 7 1/2" and 30 1/4" x 1" for the arrow.
