The lot features a carved catlinite pipestone tomahawk pipe bowl from the Lakota Sioux Native Americans, dating to the circa 1950-1970's. The piece shows a standard tomahawk war club pipe bowl shape commonly seen amongst tourist trade, roadside pipe examples. The piece shows an engraved carved pattern of two Eagle Feathers with a round medallion and two fringes on both sides of the thick blade section. The square bowl and pipe stem connection have a beveled cut, vine file-like pattern. The piece has a nice deep to shallow red coloring with pink speckling. Measures overall 5.25" by 5" by 7/8".
