Featured in this lot is this bronze called "Wicked Pony," circa after Frederic Remington born 1861 and passed in 1909. Wicked Pony shows a cowboy that had been thrown from a rank tempered bronco. Inspired by a real-life event, this Remington bronze sculpture depicts a fallen rider attempting to wrestle his horse to the ground in a desperate attempt to regain control. The condition of this bronze is good, with no obvious signs of damage. The measurements of this bronze are 22 1/2" x 20" x 8 1/2".
