The lot features a very large napped stone Hardin Spear or Lance point totaling 9.25”L in a shadowbox frame. The Hardin Spear point appears to be a contemporary or modern late 20th Century point, but the piece has not been removed from the frame for up close examination and could possibly be earlier. The piece shows an amazing size being Indian napped in a spear or lance Hardin pattern with serrated edges and flaking, elliptical shape, prominent acute shoulder, with a very subtle concave base. Likely from chert stone. The stone is 9.25”L by 2.5”W in a frame that is 18.5” by 12 1/8”.
