Featured in this lot we have a Frederic Remington sculpture known as Rattlesnake. Frederic Remington is hands-down the most recognizable Western artist in history. The sculpture shows good detail and proportioning. The cowboy shows great expression and is adorned in typical garb, including wooly chaps. The horse has great detail, showing it avoiding the rattlesnake below. Overall, the sculpture shows good condition and patina. This bronze sculpture is attributed to Frederic Remington and is an afterlife lost wax casting. The base of the sculpture is marked "Frederic Remington" across the front. The condition of this after Remington bronze is good, with no obvious signs of damage. The measurements of this bronze are 15 1/2" long by 21 1/2" tall and 10 1/2" wide.
