Included in this lot we have a large vintage Pauly jail iron lock originating from the late 19th century. The lock was manufactured by Pauly Jail Building Company, who where known as some of the biggest pioneers in jial construction. The lock is marked across its face reading "Pauly Jail Lock - St. Louis MO. USA - PAT. PEND." and is unmarked across the back. The lock shows very solid construction and comes with two brass keys. The piece is in good condition with some minor discoloration. The lock measures 8 1/4" long by 4 3/4" wide and 1 1/4" thick.
