Featured in this lot we have a Hunter Arms Company Number 0 L.C. Smith double barrel side by side shotgun chambered in 12 gauge. The Number 0 is the lowest grade of Hunter Arms Company L.C. Smith shotguns and were manufactured between 1894 to 1914 with the Damascus barrels available after 1899. The shotgun features Damascus side by side round double barrels, walnut stock and front grip, checkered grip, and double trigger system. The frame is marked on both side reading "L.C. Smith". The frame under the action is marked with the patent dates, serial number, and grade 0 number. Mechanically the piece shows a working action, automatic shell ejectors, and functional double trigger system. The shotgun shows good condition overall with some wear due to age and use. Serial Number: 107505. This firearm qualifies as a Curio & Relic firearm, and requires FFL Transfer or NICS Background Check.
