Offered in this lot is a Ladies’ fur coat from the 1970's. The coat is made of leather and beaver. This is a great fur coat showing a lovely texture to the fur and great solid construction to the coat itself. The fur is interspaced with dark brown leather strips. The fur shows a color shading from rich brown to tan. The coat also has leather cuffs and pocket trim with leather covered buttons. The coat has a silk liner with a tie closure inside. The coat has hook clips and rings for closing. This is a pretty coat that can offer all the warmth you would need in winter. The coat is in good used condition. The coat measures 17" across the back shoulders, 34" from the top of the collar to the bottom of the back, and sleeves that measure 17" on the underside. Here's a lovely fur stole or cape, made by Morton's of Washington DC. There is no content tag, however we suspect this piece is sheared beaver. The coat is fully lined and has the previous owner's initials embroidered inside. There is no size tag, but this would best fit a size small. Measurements: shoulders - 16", length - 25". This coat is in very good condition for its 50+ years of age; we noted some thinning to the fur at one collar tip.
