Featured in this lot is a Signed Lee Stroncek Limited Edition Lithograph, "Morning Mist", framed, 307/750. Montana artist Lee Stroncek is known for painting landscape, fishing, and wildlife genres. His works are included in private collections throughout the U.S., including the L.L. Bean Co. of Freeport, Maine. He won "Best of SHow" at the 1995 C. M. Russell Art Auction in Great Falls, Montana and his work is included in the permanent collection of the National Museum of Wildlife Art in Jackson, Wyoming. His works have appeared in such publications as Sports Afield, Field & Stream, Fly Fisherman, Trout, Southwest Art, Wildlife Art, Sporting Classics, Yankee, and In-Fisherman magazines. His works were chosen for the 1985 and 1988 California Wild Trout Stamp print design, and he has shown in several Birds in Art exhibitions at the Leigh Yawkey Woodson Art Museum. Originally a native of Minnesota, Stroncek studied wildlife and fisheries biology at the University of Montana. This limited edition is numbered 307/750 at the bottom left corner. The artist's signature is on both bottom corners with the left corner, "L. Stroncek" and the right corner, "Lee Stroncek". The triple-matted professionally mounted wood frame is in nice condition overall, scuffing noted on edges. Lithograph is in very nice condition, no marring observed.
